What size for my dog? Measure across the widest part of your dog's front paw. The manufacturer's chart gives the opening as 5.5 cm (S), 6.5 cm (M) and 7.5 cm (L), with cup heights of 9.5, 11.5 and 15 cm. Choose the size the paw fits into with a little room; too tight and the bristles cannot move.
Do I need soap? No, it is designed to work with plain water. A squirt of pet shampoo is fine for really greasy mud, but rinse well afterwards.
Will my dog tolerate it? Most do once they have had a treat for the first paw. The bristles are soft silicone, so it feels more like a massage than a scrub. Go slowly the first few times.
How do I clean the cup itself? Pull it apart, tip out the water, rinse the bristles under the tap and leave it open to dry.
